My personal favorite NPC of our DnD game has gone from a scared girl with a broken spirit, to dead, to even more broken, to...this. She has come so far, and I am so happy. She is now a captain of her own ship, the Heartbreaker, and a part-time member of the navy. Captain Aileen Killian has an excellent ring to it, and I could not be more proud.
