I was talking to Huskie the other night (hmmm, i know not how to make the little icon appear here... it's different than DA, right?) and campies were mentioned.
I've had one of those moments... when you realize suddenly that something is amazing... and then you wonder why you never thought of it before.
Anyhow, these are amazing creatures. I've a feeling you'll be seeing more of them appear in my gallery as i develop my own Hippocampus Ecmajoris. :D
There's a lot of unexplored territory here. Many questions can be raised about this mysterious and reclusive creature... And i intend to figure them out!
Oh yeah, i ought to mention that this is just a lousy sketch, appologies for the low quality. Drawn at work on printer paper. With a stick pencil no less. Blech!

Sharfin rear-flippies! :D And a cute lil angler-horn! X3 So feckin awesums!
So cool to see your rendition XD I like the sharkfins, most renditions i've seen of them havent got those :3 The finned forlegs always weirded me out but i'm sure you can iron them out with a couple more tries XD i'd probably prefer to go the route of keeping the hoof and just adding fins to the rear.. though why have a hoof if you never touch the ground, i dunno, its just my sensibility :P
mmm.. fin-mane<3
