It must be that
looks so forlorn because he's on rice god's shrine-tending duty. Probably as a part of his social service for brandishing his scythe-wings in public.
My very incompetent attempt to return Gorath's kindness in drawing me standing on a boat, as well as an expression of gratitude for being
's friend and generally a very agreeable person who also has an appreciation for Jethro Tull.
A coloured version.

Back in the time it was my most favourite song of theirs, and I'm quietly exultant that it grafted so well on your music-tree.
You are too kind, I haven't yet researched even the most basic of hand positions, and my grabbity-claspy renditions of said appendages lack necessary firmness of grasp. There is also the matter of either self-plagiarizing, a clinical imagination failure or a deeply-rooted affinity for broomsticks clawing at the back of my mind, seeing as I'd already drawn you with this household implement. Next time a situation that would call for a character to hold something arises, I'll make it a scythe. Or a mine detector.
Thank you for your continuing flower-watering efforts !

AHHHHHH PICTURE :D *kicks feet happily* Woo!
This is awesome dude. I rarely ever get gift art, and certainly wasn't expecting it. I'm completely psyched you drew something for me.
It's a charming depiction of Gorath though perhaps a bit far from my attachment to Japanese culture. Who's Miko? X3
Since this is the type of work I do for money anyway, maintenance and janitorial work mostly, I feel like this picture is a skewed reality parallel to my daily life. It truly captures my mood and had quite an impact on me.
You don't have to be so hard on yourself. I wouldn't call this incompetent at all. You know, every great artist has to start somewhere.

Thanks for liking it, I thought it would be a fitting last spasm for this account's death throes, although I do nurture some hope of reviving it in the future. I hope the link to the coloured version isn't too inconspicuous.
You were the first to startle me with an act of kindness, so it's just me returning a favour. If you badger Razerz for long enough, she might share some other drawings of your lupodracomorphic personification that I've doodled alongside her esteemed avatar. Gorath is very entertaining to draw, I verily admire his design, particularly the shaggy padding of the wings and the scales, not to mention those peculiar tendrils.
A miko is a Japanese shrine maiden, which would technically disqualify Gorath from possible employment, but he's a part-dragon, and dragons defy rational logic(this is how most of them fly).
As for the honourable manual labour, there is already a floor-sweeping picture in my gallery, the ghastly specter of broom must be haunting me.
Thank you also for he words of encouragement ! Receiving it from an artist for whose skill I have so much respect really adds to the appreciation, too.
