I decided to experiment with textures a little in this drawing. It was a pretty tough drawing, because I also included a background. My backgrounds could use a little work- they're not smooth enough.

Backgrounds don't really need to be the center of attention, since you know... backgrounds, I actually like how it looks. Nice work. :')

Thank you. I did the textures on a whim, by taking photos off the internet, and they really did quite a bit to improve the image.

I like the perspective of this, and how the upper left is in complete contrast with the rest of the background. It's great when people add real backgrounds, since it just adds so much to the picture. Nice job.

Yeah... backgrounds are my favorite part. I love drawing the background, and often have a little trouble with overly simplistic backgrounds. Basically, it is now impossible for me to draw a character floating in space, or standing in an empty room next to a wall, or stuff like that.

The tree in the background was driving me crazy. It turned out I forgot to render it, and there was a little texture overlap. Somehow, none of you noticed. I went to photoshop, fixed that real quick, and did a reload.
