I meet this tiger at Ef this year, at the beginning i though it's Joshua, but if you look clsoer it's other cat, tho difference is amazing i though he is one of yours ^^'

It basically looks like Joshua without detail...the bodysuit nor the tail looks like firestorms style its the head that i feel sticks out the most

im not offended, as i know its bound to happen as it do with 2D artists works. some people would be upset alot more. As long as Zen is not upset about it then im fine with it aswell.

They didn't quite do it like you did. But I do see very strong similarities.Could have used Zen's suit as a model for it. I'm sure if you looked at it in proper lighting, you'd see the differences.

umm, out of curiousity, I like the postioning of the eyes, is it possible to install a tiny set of actuators with a leveling system that would tilt the eyes with the motions of the head?

I showed him pics I took of it at EF this year - the first thing I thought when I saw it was that Zen was at the con. Soon it became apparent, he was not but yes, the apology should go to you too I feel as it's a blatant carbon copy.

There IS a strong resemblance. Not sure you could do anything about it outside of contacting the fursuiter and asking about it.

There are are only so many combos we can work with. If it's a copy I'd be surprised. Plus zen has not been around that long and suit takes a fair while to make. unless it was released yesterday i think it would be pretty unlikely. Besides do people ever copy others works?* snickers*

and yes, people do make copies of other people's suits (often without the other person knowing)

for example, my fiance had someone come up to him taking pictures and complimenting him so much on his suit and said he was going to get someone to make a copy...
you can guarantee tig wasn't very happy about that, and made the guy delete the photos there and then.

It sucks that someone would copy a design/style , but as they say "imitation is the best form a flattery" I mean...have youve seen how many people copied Latinvixen's toony resin or 2D toony eye style....a lot. Keep making your wonderful suits cause no matter how much someone tries to copy you...you stuff will always be unique.

They or him or her whoever made it also made a black and white husky that totally looks like a rip of your work. Saw it in a few EF pics along with the joshua clone. Take in mind this happens no matter what in the fandom. If you have a likable style it will be copied one way or another.

Sorry it happened to you, but look at the bright side they like your work that much they need to copy Remember you are always the original, so in other words always the best ^__^

I dont mind that the artist uses mold's Becase she was cheap at the time But. Its kinda a little upseting to see one verry similer at a furcon,

It's more than the hair colour though. Actually compare the two. There's some various material differences as well as a lack of stripes, but the overall fur pattern, tuffs along the cheeks, the pattern of white fur on the nose etc is extremely similar for starters.

Nothing I think it's something to get mad over, but the similarities are rather striking.

Seen it before and had to double take, that suit can't NOT be a copy, it is waaay too similar. Not much you can really do about it though -.-

way too similar they did not change enough details. I say it's a near copy. A person who is inspired by another suiter should add or change at least 10 or more things. such as color etc. I am paraphrasing some advice i once read from purple huskie.
