Princess Menodora Kallistos Theachaikos of Therinos is a dragoness like any other. Adopted into the royal family soon after hatching due to being a 'violetimati' (an individual with unusually potent magic, denoted by the fact that here eyes are purple, rather than the regular yellow), she was raised among the true-born children of King Achaikos Kallistos Vasilikos. Unfortunately, her revered status was eventually tarnished when she not only failed to grow out of her 'hatchling pudge', but despite everything, continued to put on weight throughout her childhood. Ridiculed behind her back, and excluded from many activities due to the disgust of her adopted grandmother, Queen-mother Philomena Kallistos Pankleisthenes, she has few friends, aside her aunt Charikleia Euripides Pandiodorus, the king's sister, who has always doted on her.

The wolf next to her in the first image is Jehanne, her future handmaiden.
