The Majestatis burrowing skink spends most of its life underground in a network of tunnels, only to emerge when it’s hungry, feeding on mostly carrion, rotting fruits and vegetables and occasionally insects. Some skinks are lazy and usually invade other skink burrows or dwell in termite mounds rather than create their own. These skinks are crepuscular, only active during dusk and Dawn but can be seen later in the morning catching a bit of sunlight.
