The irontusk is a species of pig almost as big as an elephant, descended from domestic pigs. They are named for their tusks, tinted red like iron oxide. They have a diet of small animals, fruits and insects but are capable of going after larger animals. They are usually hunted by the Khamido for their meat, fur and tusks. Sometimes they use them as mounts. Their meat and apparel are fairly expensive due to the difficulty of hunting them as they are fast and can fight back.
