The decapitator is a wolf-sized reptile native to the grand forest of Gigantis dubbed “Amasis’ Amazon”. They are nocturnal, only active at night. Decapitators got their name from how they kill their prey, they decapitate them and keep their heads as trophies. After eating they take the heads to their hoard which is a burrow or cave with a whole collection of severed heads of many different animals. It’s unknown why they do it and whether or not they gain something from it.
Decapitators are fast and unpredictable, they like to catch their victims off guard. They have a powerful sense of smell and can even sense body temperature. Spending a night in this forest is a death wish. Unless you camp up in the trees, luckily decapitators aren’t very built for climbing.
