One of the hardiest animals to have ever lived. Cave titans are massive burrowing reptiles with skin almost as tough and thick as rock able to withstand pressure and intense heat which they would frequently come across when they dig very deep into Amasis’ crust. Their burrows often always have a pool of magma at the end, probably serving as a place these titans can keep warm without going up to the surface. They primarily feed on swarms of bat like creatures or other small animals that try to make the burrows their home much like a whale feeding on swarms of krill. Cave titans are an entirely female species but still able to reproduce via parthenogenesis.
Unfortunately Cave titans have been extinct for 80 million years. The cause was likely from starvation when a mass extinction wiped out their source of food. Overtime their fossilised remains are common and found in all continents, they sometimes get pushed up to the surface, where they are often mistaken for weird natural rock formations. Many of their burrows are caved in due to the shifting of Amasis’ tectonic plates.
