what is a "protomorph"?

"About Protomorphs".
These are the first morphs that were ever created for rich people. They are a kind of companions who have served as friends, helpers, boduguards, secretaries, or sexual partners for wealthy businessmen and politicians.
Some kind of status things for elite. But after scientists start creating a "regular" morphs on "mass production".

They all were released after Genowar and settled on whole Chakona and Earth. Protomorphs are pretty rare now.
Protomorphs have a certain degree of regeneration, (not that much as chakats of course) and even in middle age they still look quite young. It also helped Madeline have so many children and look great at her age.
They have no limit on intelligence level, and usually, their intelligence is equal to humans or sometimes even exceeds it due to less brain degradation with age.
So being a protomorph is even better than being a regular morph.
In addition, they have beautiful exotic hair colors, and their fur is very beautiful and shines with a purple glow in the sun. (This was making on purpose, to show that they are not humans - just some creatures with unnatural hair color.)
- But even now, after centuries their hair colour distinguish them from the crowd.
