Fanart - Pink Slime
I have wanted to draw fanart for a long time now but I never dared. Sharing what I like and do in my free time felt too vulnerable and I decided not to. Now that I have my art style nicely coming along and so many kind people appreciating my original content it is time that I show what I like!
I like Slime Rancher, I think it is a fun and cute game, exploring and collecting wonderful little things is so sweet! I love that there is adventure but no real violence or time constraints. You can do as you please and things will be all right whatever you do. You can set your own goals!
I have set the goal to draw an avatar for each type of slime I encounter in their first location. Here is pink slime who is the first kind of slime you meet in the game, they invade your ranch! They are harmless but they eat anything and everything which is both a blessing and a curse. It was good to have visual references for this piece from the game. I was able to experiment with a more painterly style for the background and a softer shading for the slime lady!
