On Drum Horses
A few weeks ago I did some research on drum horses. This is a very rare sub race of the world's biggest horse race, the shire horses (yes, kids, they are even bigger as the famous clydesdales you see in the Budweiser commercials).
Drum horses are unique for several reasons - first of all they are colored (something you'd try to avoid when you breed shire horses). They are very strong, as they are used carry both, a rider and two 90 pound silver kettle drums. They are extremly cool tempered as they don't care for the noise of the drums and allow to steer them with his feet.

And of course... drum horses need to be total show offs, as they lead royal parades. Looks like the perfect choice for a self centered guy like me, no?

Are you really sure you want Hugin as the head of your heard? As your master? Even if he wears kinky chaps and gloves as you can see here http://www.furaffinity.net/view/4869129/
Naw. This picture was my first inspiration when I was looking for an idea for an equine character. He was my first reference.
Hugin himself is an anthro stallion, a creation of my imagination - not a real horse.
17, hm? ALright. Then I shall show you this picture: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/4868928 You should be able to see it without problems.
