Absol Juggernaut's Ascension Comic
Present to you all, my very first contemporary comic using all of my current digital techniques for coloring and shading! This 10 ½ hours of color was a looong project, even with cutting corners like omitting fur details but hey, I got it done.
Honestly I didn’t think I would get this done in a month when I first held the poll this went on to win but I stuck to a schedule and got through it.
Here we see Typhianna transforming into her mega form, “The Harbinger”, as mortals know her as. As a small reminder, it is supposed to be mortals don’t really know this is Typhianna in Mega form. It’s kinda like a Superman/Clark Kent getup. Also this makes for the first time we get to see Typhianna is full color from the front by me. It feels weird as red eyes are not something I would normally put on a character.
From start to finish I would say the comic took about 15 hours to do.
Done as a sketch on paper, scanned in, and painted in Photoshop CS5.

Her original "The Harbinger" title was for when her main boss Sierra the Ninetales desires to deliver punishment for mortals doing wrongful activity at a large scale; usually companies or other large entities. While most of the time the damage would be undone/repaired at the end, the whole point is for public humiliation to show divine disapproval.
This is more likely to happen under Sierra's domain compared to most other Super Titans because Sierra is very hands off. She gives a lot more freedom in what mortals can do. But if they push her patience too far, then she'll step in via Typhianna.
This arrangement was made before Sierra was more willing to take on a micro form at 2,500-ish feet compared to her natural 11.5 mile height. At her natural height, its a little hard for her to be more precise in delivering public humiliation. Hehehe~
Typhianna was given this role instead of other divine for the most part so whenever she showed up to do such, it was instantly recognized the point of what she was doing.
As a guilty pleasure, I have added Clypse (Clyssandra) and Volvautia as being able to do this too. >///>
