"It was a pretty standard day for Mega Mutt, as the super strong superhero of Kentville. He was doing his usual business of protecting the city from superpowered individuals and the occassional robberies that happen within the city, spending the majority of the day within the city being the hero, he had been neglecting his day job as a shopkeeper. So he decided to return to where his store "Bennett's Sweets and Things" was. Knowing that his alleyway was generally closed off and way from anybody, he had the perfect local to change from Mega Mutt to Arthur Bennett without anyone around to see him change. Though the case of this had changed in a strange twist of fate. As Mega was returning to his alleyway to change back to his clerk persona, Samantha Mews, a boarder collie looking canine, who was a worker within the store, after having worked on a batch of sweets for the next day, she decided to take a small break from her work and proceeded to leave the store placing a 10 minute sign up on the window of the store before locking up the front door.

"I think i should take a litle break for now.. A shame that Arthur had to head off all of a sudden. But i'm sure he'll be fine." Samantha said as she locked up the store from the front. "Well i'm sure that Arthur would be happy that his Mega Bars are all in stock for the next time. I suppose I should give my dad's care centre a call seeing how he's doing so far since Mega Mutt's offering to help our family out." Samantha said to herself as she stepped through from the main floor into the backroom area, before opening the doors to the alleyway entrance of the store.

As she pulled out her phone, Mega landed down in the secluded area in the alleyway without realising that Samantha had looked to begin calling up her dad's care centre. "Well i might as well get myself back to being my Clerk self then i suppose." Mega said as he proceeded to take off his eye mask, leaving the mask on top of a dustbin, proceeding to take his outfit off. As mega got to taking his suit off about halfway down his torso, his mask began setting off a small ringtone from the small speakers. In a panic, Mega rushed to take the eye mask back off the dustbin as he placed it onto his face. Within seconds the mask then flickered to life as mini screens in the eye mask opened as a call from the mayor had gotten to him as he then proceeded to answer the call.

"Mayor Montanez.. It's a bit of a late call from you Sir..?" Mega said in his usual manner, talking to Mayor Montanez, the mayor of Kentville who looked like a stout chihuahua, as he was on the screens, as he appeared. "Yes, sorry for the late call Mega. I just want to comment on your work that you've been doing and I have to commend that you've done such a great service to the community. We're wondering if you'd like to appear at the fireman's ball later in the week as an esteemed guest." Mayor Montanez said as he talked with Mega. "Well it's a nice gesture Mr Montanez.. But a hero like myself should be keeping the city safe.. But i'm sure that it'll be nice to have you to have the Kentville Orphanage on your mind in return." Mega said as he was working on his cape from his suit as he removed it from his suit as he held it in his hand. "Of course.. I'm sure that the firemen will be happy to olblige. Thank you Mega at least." Mayor Montanez said as he nodded about the proposal. "I'll let you get back to whatever you were doing sir." Mayor Montanez said as he blipped out from the screens from Mega's mask.

After blipping out, Mega then took off his eye mask, putting the eye mask back down onto the dustbin as he looked to finish taking his suit off.. However he didn't realise that Samantha was around the corner having finished her conversation, she was about to return to going back inside, she however started hearing Mega talking in the alleyway as she turned the corner she could see Mega in the secluded part of the alleyway as she saw Mega having being stripped off nearly half his suit, showing off his herculean build. Samantha couldn't believe that her own boss was Kentville's hero. Questions were surrounding her mind but she knew she had to be tough towards her heroic boss as she stood in the passage as she approached her boss.

"Boss?! You're Mega Mutt.." Samantha called out to Arthur as he stood looking at her, his cape in hand, his supersuit being removed down to his muscular legs. Arthur was in complete shock, as he didn't expect Samantha to be in the same alleyway, he knew he couldn't beat the bush on this one.

"S..Samantha.. What are you doing back here...!?" Arthur said as he saw Samantha who was looking at him in a slightly stern way, something he wasn't expecting to see. As he saw her walk up to him as she was ready to expose his secret to the people with one small photograph to social media.

"You.. after all this time.. After all those years of you disappearing from work.. Leaving me and Ashley do the majority of the work.. And having to keep an eye of the store.. And after you took me in when I had nothing..." Samantha looked to him walking up to him, as she pointed her finger out to him as she was originally a troubled teen all those years back but now pretty much a woman who'd be able to run a business was staring at her mentor with a icy glare.

"We.. Well.. I wasn't expected to have you come out here.. I normally would see you going into the backrooms and the kitchens.. Never out the back alleyways.." Mega said having a slight stammer as he knew he wouldn't be able to get out of the situation.

"And after you agreeing to help my father.." Samantha said looking to him sternly

"You were in dire straights and i thought that the folks from INDIGO would be a perfect group of people to help with your fathers condition." Mega said towards Samantha as she looked to him, however rather than doing what he expecteded, Samantha then leaned into Mega as she kisses his lips. Within a few seconds the yammering canine had been placed in a state of confusion as the two exchanged kisses between each others before breaking their kiss.

"That.. Mega is for all you've done for me and my dad.." Samantha said as she blushed towards Mega as she stroked Mega's chest proudly.

"S..Sam? You're not mad at me with this secret...?" Mega said as she looked at Samantha in a slightly bemused way seeing her stroking his heroic chest as if she dreamt of being with her hero.

"Well... I am a little mad that you kept your secret from me for so many years.. But you're the one who saved my dad.. You're the one who gave me a job.. And you're the one who prevented me from ending my life too... So this is the best return I can give to you Mega.." Samantha said to Mega as she smiled at him, her eyes filling up with tears knowing he helped save her.

"Well I had to do something.. besides, INDIGO had plenty enough resources to help your father out." Mega said as he blushed, stroking the back on his head smiling at Samantha.

"Without you.. both of us wouldn't be here.. Thank you Mega." Samantha said, before wrapping her arms around mega's neck before going back into kissing the hunky hero on his lips once more as she cuddled into his chest smiling at his hero.

"I suppose you want to stay like this for a little bit huh.." Mega said as he looked on at Samantha who kept cuddling into his pecs and chest.

"Of course... you're my hero and you deserve to have my love." Samantha said as she keeped hugging into Mega's chest as she sighed.

So Mega decided to stay within the alleyway, as smiled at her cuddling him to his chest as he placed his cape down onto the dustbin, watching as Samantha was having her moment with him as she smiled to herself knowing that her hero was there for her always and never will forget."
