Seria was first made in 1992, as an old Crown Vic model and an unmarked unit, with her expert partner. Was given several civilian vehicle forms so she and him had a lesser chance of being caught on an undercover operation if one of her forms is recognized by a criminal.
She worked on the force for a total of 18 years, updating her normal Crown Victoria form to be more up-to-date with the new car's models. Her and her partner were some of the best officers the force had ever had, before she was injured in the line of duty and eventually decided to retire with full honors and a happy sendoff by the force, but she lived with her former partner as she didn't really want to leave his company. Only this was not very long before the species revolt.
After that, she willingly had to leave her partner and his home for his own safety and her safety as well. They do still occasionally keep in contact because they were an incredible team and wouldn't want to lose contact all because of the revolt.
