Production Status and Description:
With wartime proving rather taxing on the Rogriss, the Freestates decided an upgrad was in store as they needed a dedicated Frontline Frigate that can actually do its job right against the Unison Level ships they were facing. Thus the Korpol was designed. Learning from the successes of the Rogriss and improvements to the Denouncer, the Korpol improved the Rogriss to a legendary point. It is terrifyingly, and some say near impossibly, well armed for a ship of its size. It boasts armor of the best quality, speed that can outmatch some fightercraft and shielding usually only applicable to the Denouncer. With most of its systems being operated by AI and a concealed command center, the ship is a state of the art Assault Frigate which some have argued is more akin to a Light Destroyer then a Frigate. It not only near doubled the weapons of the Rogriss, it made them heavier and in better positions. It is, as some have admitted, the perfect Picket Ship. Combine this with the fact it can transport and command more effectively then Rogriss Frigates, it is well sought after by Captains.
