Next step in completing a traditional color piece is laying in all the marker colors for the background/shading/base colors. I use Copic Sketch markers for this since not only do they provide a wonderful overlay and blend, but can be refilled. One this particular piece I've also added some "bling" with Copic Spica glitter pens. Unfortunately the scanner doesn't pick up the nice shiny glitter accents, but they can be seen on the original piece in person.

Next up will be details and extra shading with colored pencil and some pen.
