I've been mudding and wandering swamps n' bogs since I was little, I'm pretty good at getting myself out of a sinking situation.

I've yet to even visit that side of the country, but I've heard that Florida has many a muddy opportunity. Ya might just have to do some research and be wiling to do a bit of in state travel.
Myself, I've traveled all over my state for photography sake, (an excuse to find mud) and take pictures (of muddy excursions) To this day only a very few people IRL know just why I'm taking such unique roadtrips.

I've seen a lot of nice muddy areas in my neighborhood & in my town, but I just don't have that much time to go visit them because of school. The main spot where I go is about waist-deep (I have a few pictures of myself mired in) & I need to revisit that spot someday. Florida has some nice, deep mud, but only if you find the right spot, which is just about everywhere.
