In Snakari Isolation 5, there was a small scene prior to the start of the game where Kojari Yenko could select what underwear he could wear to sleep in. He could choose his signature blue bikini undies that were now his trademark for the previous four games, or a thong to show off slightly more of his rear, or even tighty whities. The nude option simply covered him with a black censor box, and would trigger the game's hard mode where Kojari would only have one life. Any deaths whilst nude instantly deleted the game's autosave.

Sareri Chesun chose to finally add it "clothing custimization" in as he had seen forum posts wondering if Kojari would ever have anything else to wear. He claims that he wanted to always reinforce Kojari's vulnerability, that he truly wasn't like comic book heroes, and even the slightest bad luck could indeed result in Kojari's death. Since Snakari Isolation happened in the far future, he also considered if underwear would even remain the same after a thousand years, but chose to keep it simple.

"Blue on his green scales makes for a nice color scheme. Red makes him too heroic. Kojari's the main character, but he's not invulnerable. It's his brains that saves him everytime, and the player's ingenuity to piece together the puzzles I put in"
