Was it weird to add refined touches to such an older sketch? I can imagine how liberating it must have felt to address this piece as finished... that's like if I started a story back then and didn't touch it past a few paragraphs, then returned to it today and revised it into a short novella. Extraordinary artwork! But I'm a sucker for righteous G.shep OCs and Aerris surely fits the bill and then some. COmpletely love the juxtaposition in color... and the glimpse through the death-haze at her skeletal structure is actually rather captivating in a dark, morbid sense. I really adore how this turned out and I'm glad you got a chance to return back to this piece! You gave it the fuel required to really take off. Highly admirable of ya, fellow artist! ;3
