Hoo boy there's a story behind these paws. For the sake of the customer's privacy I won't go into too much detail. But I have no reservations in saying that working with this person was an absolute nightmare. They are on my blacklist.

Essentially, I was a more naive person back in 2020 and I allowed myself into being coerced into undercharging my work. I was lowballed so hard that I did not break even. And according to a few other makers, this was a consistent repeat issue with this person.

The customer was deadset on the paws being painted with UV paints for rave purposes. Which was fine. I was actually excited to be making rave gear. But the customer provided me a link to a selection of what I thought was UV paints, but upon ordering I realized that they were powdered pigments. I then had to mix them with translucent fabric paint to get them to adhere. LUCKILY, it turned out looking pretty great, and I was very proud.

Saddly, these paws ended up being part of a set. The customer in question also commissioned a Tail and Feet from me. (And they knew they were getting quality work for next to nothing. When they finally decided to sell the character that these pieces were intended for, they sold only the head of the character, kept the pieces I made for them, and made a new sona to match them. Oh well... at least they didn't try to upsell my work...)
