Actually, plenty of people take offense to eating veal. It's just not as fashionable as it used to be.
I believe being a pred (meat-eating humans count) means you have to develop your own ethics when it comes to who is morally right to eat: be it based on species, maturity, or any arbitrary characteristic/combination thereof. When a traditional prey anthro is doing that it's just cute and especially so when she's tubby and drawn by Drake. I dunno what the community's stance is on taking young prey, but it'd be interesting to find out.
