Jim Self Tuba Duo #12, arranged for Bass Clarinet and Tuba
This was what I ended the "normal" program of my recital with. Any low brass player worth his/her salt knows that the Jim Self duets are equal parts fun and challenging. I have two close friends who are tuba players, so in order to include one of them in the recital and have fun with my last piece, I used my copy of Sibelius to arrange the first part for Bass Clarinet.
Interestingly enough, I made CSULB Bob Cole Conservatory history with this for being the first clarinetist to include a tuba player in my recital ^_^.
Tubist is my best friend Matthew, who I am very grateful to have as a friend and colleague.
