I could wait with uploading this for a few days. I could... but I won't.
I had this lineart laying around for a few weeks now and I finally decided to color it. What does it show?
Well, in December of last year, I posted this creature to my gallery: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/45208291/ . And so, this scene shows a Felirex who has just hunted down a 5-meter-long Monoceras (one of the most common herbivores in the area).
As stated in the description for this species: in order to avoid competing for food with dragons, griffins, and large theropods, the Felirex became a nocturnal hunter (while dragons rule the day, felines rule the night).
As such, I wanted to draw a scene fully set at night. And, after a lot of brainstorming on how to pull it off, I came up with this.
