Drying out in the Sunshine
People keep seeing these serious or angsty drawing I do of Three, but she does have plenty of happy serene moments in her life. As someone who has had to live off the land and hide in hostile environments, she's learned to take pleasure in simple little things, like the feel of sunlight on the rooftop of Timothy's shop when she's fresh out of a shower. Either Timothy has some kind of shield, of she's where nobody can see her, or else Three is just feeling daring, who's to say?

This scene actually makes me feel happy for her. Given her life as an adventurer in countless worlds of varying technological and social sophistication, she's definitely had her share of hardships, but this scene makes me think that despite the pressures of living in a society that might not be entirely accepting of her, her time in modern earth is probably one of the better chapters in her life. Even with the duties of a magic store assistant, the occasional dangerous adventure relic-hunting, and handling evil, cursed, or just plain dangerous artifacts, it seems that she is truly happy.
It would also stand to reason that since Timothy owns a magic shop, he would have such an illusory screen to at least keep the overly curious from getting too interested in his place (they might start pawing through his beloved books!) Either that or he has a decent disguise; stay behind the counter and wear a dapper hat, and customers would think him nothing more than a highly eccentric and odd-looking midget.
