First of multiple "Species" refs I need to do for these guys. They have recieved a very positive reception. I intend to create more references over time that go over some of the goofy small details I like with them because I have thought these guys through with a little bit too much effort.
It'll take a while though, I am juggling a bazillion other art subjects within the manatear.

They are still themselves but have a fair amount of behavior filters keeping them from acting out too much. Eventually I'll get another character ref out that will talk about this sort of stuff. Beyond really basic stuff like being forced to be overly polite and not swear and instead replace all swearing with Rated G phrasing.
The suits do not lock by default. But if they unsuit themselves they tend to faceplant into needing to sleep for 8'ish hours. So most union members tend to leave the suit on because they'll lose those 8 hours for the precious 24 hours they do have off. However plenty do plan to just take that rest and do things outside of the suit free of the behavior filters and then come back to suitup at the start of their next shift.
The comic shows some of their non raccoon members, the receptionist is a opossom! She shows up on the next page. The hive has some other staff that helps them as the raccoon drone's main deal is physical labor and tasks. They do have an administrative entity that is the hive's core but it needs to talk with other actors to interact with the larger city bureaucracy.
It isn't too exciting, they just take off the suit. While working for them they are able to do so during their time off but the 8 hours nap that is needed after taking the suit off makes a lot of corp members just keep the suit on.
The longer a spellfluxed works for the corps beyond the short contract the more likely they'll be a raccoon by the end of it. They'll notice when it does happen if they have been taking off the mask during their breaks...well provided there is a mirror or someone points out that it happened. It's a bit of a blindspot.
