Brickey is only half a wall anyway. In fact, the markings in this painting are pretty accurate to his design.

For a minute there, before I enlarged it, my eyes played a trick on me and I thought I saw a bat on the wall. I guess its the Lortab doing something.

This wall needs mending.

finish it with an explanation, half that wall is being heated and lit by an intense magnesium fire. Totally realistic!

I have only ever seen one brick more beautiful than these, it is rare to find bricks with such care in their creation as these.

This is truly and simply gorgeous. But what takes it up a notch is the choice in transitioning from finely detailed to unfinished. You obviously can make things look picture realistic, but that gets boring after a bunch of picture realistic paintings. I love your choice of how you created interest, and how it boggles the mind at first registering what it is, photo or paint.

Sorry I ramble when sleep deprived, and I just really like this a lot!
