This started out with the idea of having the d formed by the dragon. Looking at now I'm not sure I used the negative space correctly but I still like the result. I might try some other initials to explore the idea more fully. But int he end it was fun to do so I consider it a success. 10x10 acrylic, liquid acrylic, black wing pencil and coloured pencil on arches watercolour paper.
