What about base colours? I'm interested as often people screw up my colours and in the past never ask or check with me, they just go with what they think might be right :/

It would not be a big problem, because i keep each color on the separate layer.

Actually base colors change depending on alot of stuff: is it a room, or is it outside, what time of day it is, even what color a wallpapers have around..

And on artist. Different artists - different coloring styles.

Well of course :P I mean, if you know what the intended generic base colours are you can easily adjust that to the situation, if you make the same adjustments in your head to a colour that's wrong then its still going to be wrong :P

I was thinking about this the other day when working on a commission, I keep the base colours in mind but they often change due to how I shade xD
