So I have some important Nix announcements.

First, I'm making a website for the Nix species. You can see it here https://www.worldanvil.com/w/the-nix-hive-armundy
It's super basic right now. I don't have my banner up, I don't have any page styling. I only have the landing page and the page about castes so far. But I'm working on more and I will update you all when I make new pages or add art.

Second, I've decided I will allow Nix to have ears, if people really, really want them. It's one of those things where it's not part of the official Nix traits, but it's not something I care enough to fight people on either, and practically every other original species have big fluffy ears, so I know people will want it and be pissed when I say no. It's important to pick your battles, and I'd rather save the fight for making sure people don't draw boobs on their Nix. It's something that I really only need to worry about if the Nix get really popular one day and the community around them extends beyond people who can contact me easily, which probably won't happen, but it's something I think about.

Third, I'm going to start selling Nix on original line art instead of making the variable bases. Those bases take so much time and effort to make, and then finishing the adopt on one is almost as much work as just making new line art to begin with, so it's really not giving me any advantage to work that way. Plus it will allow me to get to the other castes quicker, and I know there were some people interested in the drake and banshee and marrow. Also my Nixie base is starting to look a little old. As I draw more Nix I get better at homing in on their look and style, and the old base just looks loose. So, drawing unique line art for each one will just result in better quality and more up to date adopts overall.
