What do you get when you cross Blazblue and Sonic the Hedgehog? Apparently, a really nice look for Sally Acorn.
Had the random idea of mixing squirrel girl Makoto Nanaya with Sally and I really enjoy the result. The pose on the left is based on Makoto's idle sprite in Blazblue. My older method for cell shading just never felt like it popped the way it needed to. But adding in extra colors to help define shadows better, namely by having those darker edges, really does wonders.
I think this might be my favorite drawing I've done of the princess.
