Fourth person eliminated from Survivor: Pleasure Island... Xander Hastings. The morning after Michael became the first contestant to be eliminated by a vote, the tribes met the host on the beach for their next reward challenge. It was an endurance challenge, with each tribe putting up an equal amount of players. Sitting out for Gáidaros is Matthew Quinlan; for Ezel, David Voce and Boston Rob; for Sumere, Spencer Bledsoe and Brian Corridan; and for Asinus, Stephen Fishbach and Matt Elrod. The tribe with the last player standing will win reward - a large tarp for camp. Finishing in fifth place is Asinus tribe; in fourth, Magarac; in third, Gáidaros; in second, Sumere; and the winning tribe, Ezel. Winning for his tribe is Xander Hastings, but on his dismount, he twisted his leg quite dangerously. Nevertheless, the tribes are sent back to their camp. However, as day turns to night and night turns into morning, Xander's leg showed no improvement. Medical was called in, and the doctors quickly realised that during the challenge, Xander had torn a muscle in his leg that would prevent him from continuing in the game. Tearfully, he says goodbye to his tribe as he is pulled from the game. He's given his batch of Pleasure Island brew and is taken away. As he leaves, donkified ears sprout above his head and he lets out a bray as he's released to the vets of Pleasure Island.
