A Gun Wheel is a fairly simple automaton in design, but nonetheless has proven extremely capable in its assigned roll as a patrol unit. Using gyroscopes to maintain balance, it is able to rapidly bring it's twin machine guns to bear on any target it finds in its assigned patrol route.
Although generally used to provide suppressing fire, Gun Wheels take great pride in their marksmanship, and when their duties allow, will often arrange shooting competitions among themselves to see which one is the best shot.

While the flounder side-eyes are cute, not being able to look at the exact spot you're shooting because the gun would cover your pupil seems like a big design flaw. Maybe for a MK II the eyes could be incorporated into the ends of the barrels or some sights/scopes?
Then again, it may be a really funny comedy bit if they just constantly missed and were really shit at their jobs. Like those murder robots in Futurama that kept accidentally killing each other/firing at their superiors because they couldn't really hear over the gunfire and kept turning to address the people they were speaking to.
