I downloaded Blender a couple of days ago to try out 3-D modeling, and it's defiantly a learning curve. I watched three beginner tutorials, and *I think* I have it down. I haven't tried sculpting in Blender yet, so I don't know how to handle it. For now, I'm doing basic polygons. I hope I can be okay with this.

lol it's fine, for low-poly you have quite good form going on. i see you do some drawing as well, i can see a lot of directions even this example can go in. if you get stuck between translating a model into something more finished you can try making full-black silhouettes after drawing over a screenshot of your model. doing such would help you derive some ideas of how to flesh out your model. it can help you think more relatively what to do next without having to tweak polygons so much :3
