The result of my trade with

He asked me to draw his character Aniki, the samurai wolfie. When i asked if he had any concept in mind he told me "draw something with a simple back ground and him posing indifferent, think of something like Byakuya from Bleach" in the same time i heard/read 'Byakuya' i instantly hear in my mind a deep & classy japanese voice saying "Shire, Senbonzakura" and so i did what i thought! xD i dunno if Aniki has such powers but even so...well! XD Scatter away Cherry Blossom blades!

Wow, this drawing drips of artistic flare and serenity =3 The first thing that really stands out are the sakura petals and how they form the sword. I really like how you gave it a trail coming from the viewer's and encircling Aniki before forming the blade. Also, smart move to have the blade not fully formed to make this effect even more impressive. The petals and sword look very realistic =3
Nice job with making his hair flow to show the wind within the scene. It makes sense for it to be like that as the petals are flowing as well, so nice job with making details match throughout the drawing, including even the flapping motions of his robes and clothes. As always your detailing is phenominal within your drawings as everything is given such attention and care that it all blends perfectly together. Your coloring skills are really improving as they look so smooth and soft in this. nice job creating the sense of distance within this as well with the background and bridge. It adds an interesting touch to the image, but makes it feel important as well to the character.
