In the finale of Spelljammer, Screet got killed by a Gith but after 3 days he got revived. Not that the Gith would ever know because they’re dead lol.

He got to vibe with Tymora while he was dead and told her stories he knows and sang songs. Even showed her his tarokka card deck and told each card’s tale. But it wasn’t time for an encore for Tymorra ‘cause his party was calling for one. And what for bard would he be if he didn’t listen to his audience?

He promised Tymora that she’ll get an encore when his story has officially ended, when his song has been sung to the last note. Then he would also have plenty more to show and tell. He meant death by old age by this.

His party is his best audience and his friends. He would always come back to give them an encore.
