Cupric was never the social type, even among dragons who do not make many meaningful connections within their long lives. She was not in possession of a mountain of gold, but rather, she is the type to categorize and organize everything she hoards into the neatest of collections you might have ever seen. Her strength was never above average, but she is an avid learner of things if it's something that brings her intrigue or joy. She's been reading a book recently, but today has had a lot of loud noises. That's why she went down to one of her favorite places, a secluded place, where crystals grown from her incantations are the illumination her pages need.
