Here is the first cover image for Chapter 1 of the upcoming Spyro comic project that I have been working on with my good friend !

This story takes place in the Legend of Spyro universe and incorporates elements of the original Spyro series from Insomniac as well. I've wanted to do a project like this for a long time, and though it will certainly be a long haul, I'm thankful to have a very talented artist and friend willing to work on it due to our mutual love of the series itself. We plan on releasing the first chapter publicly likely toward the end of next month with weekly uploads. Per most comic projects, the pages will be released much soon over on Roshea's Patreon starting around mid-September or so. The moment she starts posting them there, we will start releasing them publicly after a few weeks time.

This story is based on some concepts that I've had for the series over the two decades plus, and while I've tried writing a story outright, I simply don't have the time or focus necessary to tell it in that manner. Thankfully, a comic makes far more sense so long as an artist is willing to work the project, and it just so happens ... I have one!

You will see pretty much all the characters involved in the Legend series, along with characters from the original as well, along with plenty of new ones. A few of which you can already see on this initial release poster. I do plan on releasing some bios for these characters in the coming days, so I hope you enjoy those as we ramp up to releasing actual pages. Looking forward to working on this much more in the future, and I hope any other mutual Spyro/dragon lovers will enjoy it as well!
