We all know the story of Little Red Riding Hood, or at least some variation. Sometimes, it ends darky, with Red being killed and eaten by the wolf. Other times, Red manages to escape the wolf with her own cunning. And yet other times Red is a damsel in distress, who is eventually rescued by the ever-present huntsman of many fairytales. And sometimes the story turns into smut, but let's not talk about those renditions.

But what if Red and the wolf were one and the same? What if, instead of a young woman visiting her grandmother only to be deceived by a wolf, it was a young wolfess off to rescue her grandmother from the clutches of an evil huntsman who refuses to see the difference between wolf and wolffolk? Thus would be the tale of the Wolfess in Red.
