Kumori stood - arms wrapped around herself as she watched from the distance as the seasons seemed to change in an instant. Summer had turned to fall, fall had turned to winter, so quickly. And it was in that summer that she'd lost one of her pack.
Saline tears found themselves streaming down her already scarred cheeks as she held the statue in her shaking human hands. She slowly leaned down and placed it amung the rocks and headstones. Moving the rocks ever so slightly so that they could hold - what little memory she had of the female canine down with the statue. It was hard, standing in this place. Even if it was just outside the building she called home.
But she knew in death there was painlessness.. and no more suffering. But even now it was still hard to live, without her sister. Forever until her dying day would she come and clean the grave off, just as she had the first night - making sure all that would cover would cease.. in this one special place.
Kumori pulled herself up - keeping a wary eye on the others of her pack running around amung her. Smile - cross wry features as she stare up in the sky and murmur. "I know you see me, Sophie. And I hope you're proud."
And with that - Kumori dissipeared into the snow ridden forest.*Camera: Canon Powershot SD 1000
