No one is perfect. No matter how much Mark adores his wonderful wife, he perfectly know that everyone has their own weaknesses and fears...
It was a beautiful summer day. Mark had just returned from work, took off his shoes, and was about to carry a bag of groceries into the kitchen...
...It would have been a lovely summer's day, if there hadn't been a hysterical scream from the kitchen and the metalic clink of a pan thrown on the floor. And Mark rushed to the kitchen in a panic...
Madeline stood motionless with her ears pressed to her head and her eyes squinted, her fur fluffed up and the tip of her fluffy tail twitching awkwardly. Madeline inhaled nervously and seemed to inflate even more in the threathening pose.
Mark froze in the doorway trying to figure out the situation, and Madeline just stood still, covering the childrens who were curiously peeking out from behind her, and growled menacingly, showing her white, sharp front teeth.
"She's so beautiful..." Mark thought. Even in such a menacing and belligerent mood, she still looked charming...
The man now knew very well how scary Madeline could be if things went too far, and Mark honestly didn't want to face an angry woman face to face.
Mark looked at her for a few more seconds, inwardly rejoicing that he had such a strong and beautiful wife, and then looked around, finally trying to find the reason for the whole event...
***
Madeline growled menacingly again, - but it didn't faze the big black hairy spider with white spots.
The creature slowly climbed onto the window frame, and slowly moved its front legs, weaving a web and apparently planning to stay in their house for a long time...
Mark looked briefly at his wife once more, and then took a broom in his hand, and carefully removing the uninvited guest, Mark opened the window and with a sharp movement threw the spider far away with its web, forcing it to look for a new and more hospitable home.
Madeline suddenly relaxed. The woman raised her ears and lowered her fur, as if deflated, after which she looked at her husband with a look full of wonder and adoration.
And when Mark cautiously came closer and held out his hand, Madeline threw herself into his arms.
"Its... Its... Its moved, its looked at me. Its must be poisonous and you risked yourself for me..." The woman cried hugging him with big force and leaning against her husband's chest.
"But my love, is a simple spider, its must have been afraid of you even more..." Mark reassured her. ...Well, he tried to reassured her.
"No, you don't understand! It was looking at me and moving its legs, it wanted to attack. And you... You are so brave!... sob..." Madeline cried.
"It will take some time..." Mark thought and looked around with a heavy sigh.
The children ran off to do their business, and Sanders sat down on a chair and, putting Madeline on his lap, hugged her tightly, calming down the nervous woman.
---
She could attack it easily, or just threw it outside the window, - but she is afraid.
As a child, Maddie was bitten on the finger by a spider while she was playing with it outside, and this childhood trauma remained forever.

Please note that my story is in the process of being written, and most of these small fragments that I published are not in chronological order.
(Chronology always was a real pain for me.) So when I finish my plans I will try to put everything in order. If I can...
