Galene (Gale-een or Gal-een, she doesn’t specify) is from a planet far from Popstar, living in Toxecia's kingdom.
After the Jambastion landed on their planet, she became a huge fan of the Mage Sisters, and wants to be just like them! Her outfit was handmade by her mother, who is a tailor.
She wields a parasol as her weapon of choice! Sadly, she has no magical prowess, yet she believes she does. She has trained and learned by herself, stating that she’s learned to bring winds and gales to the fight. In reality, it is merely a small blast from the Parasol itself.
She's kind, and oblivious to everything, including herself. She’s also Halaro's penpal! It was a massive surprise when they found out. Fate however led Galene to follow Halaro and learn magic from him.
The Mage sisters all ignore her and refuse to let her join them, aside from Francisca, who admires her enthusiasm and has gotten to know Galene a little.

The idea of her and Halaro's pen pal letters is just funny to me. Like, she wrote to him about the wonders of mages and how awesome magic is, and He wrote to her a detailed account of the decay of the kingdom, the fall of Sectona, and the tragedy of Taranza. Also Tailoring tips for the outfit.
Part of the surprise was that Galene thought Halaro was... A girl, from the way they wrote.
Which Halaro promptly puts into the pile of "will deal with that information later" that is rapidly growing and he has no plans of actually dealing with later at this time.

She can finally gain her desired wind powers/abilities by asking Hyness or by being saved by Hyness or another Magic Ancient after dying in a twister or hurricane. PS, the second option is how the mage sisters is how they gain their magical powers/abilities:
Francisca was originally a normal girl, but somehow ended up wandering in a snowstorm, and nearly froze to death. However, before she could depart from the world, Hyness arrived in the nick of time and saved her by granting her the powers of ice.
Flamberge was originally a normal girl, but somehow got trapped in a fire and nearly suffocated after releasing one fiery last scream. However, before she could depart from the world, Hyness arrived in the nick of time and saved her by granting her the powers of fire.
Zan Partizanne was originally a girl, who had been struck by lightning after having lost everything and climbing a tall tower(Yes, she was going to "no life" herself by jumping off the tower). However, before she could draw her last breath, Hyness arrived in the nick of time and saved her by granting her the power of electricity.
