Episode 2: “In Search for a Purpose”

(In the city of Mistral, people are enjoying themselves with their time with their friends and family. Kids are running around playing with each other, playing with their pets and having a great time. Birds fly by above their heads as they migrate north, while the dogs and cats of the streets stroll like any other day)

(However, as the scene scrolls downward its shows the lower levels of mistral, in where the criminals of scum and villainy dwell there. In Mistral Below, are full of criminals such as The Mouse and Parrot, Lil’ Miss Malachite, Broken memories and others. They tend to keep to themselves without bothering the other criminals of their work, but will answer in force if they are interrupted)

(As the criminals are walking on, Axel McLay and Blaze is seen entering down an alleyway prior to them arriving by train to Mistral with Oscar; before they went to their separate way. As fugitives of the law, they avoided the upper levels of Mistral to avoid detection and went to Mistral Below where it is slightly safe from them to travel)

(As they arrive to a dead end, Axel looks back at Blaze to signal him to keep guard from behind as Axel began to inspect the wall. He presses a button that opens up to reveal a keypad. He presses the numbers on the keypad in sequence (07-18-20-13) and with that a hidden door opens in front of them. Inside shows sets of stairs that leads downward, after Axel finishes checking the entrance and hiding the keypad, he turns and signals Blaze to come over)

(Blaze enters first as he walks down the stairs with Axel remaining behind to check for anyone looking down the alleyway. Afterwards, he heads inside and walks down the stairs; with the entrance closing behind them. At the end of the stairs there is a door, in which behind it is a safe house from where Blaze and Axel wanted to be. Inside the safe house, three of Blaze’s loyal companions are there waiting for someone to arrive. Sitar Symphonica is sitting on a couch adjusting his sniper rifle with his sitar at the side, Nox with his eyes close, his arm cross as he is lean back to a wall and Walter Steiner is reading on a newspaper while drinking his coffee)

(The newspaper article tells about the restoration funds lead by Lucas Nineheart and the rest of Vale in rebuilding some parts of the city and restoring Beacon Academy. There are other highlights regarding Raven’s tribe, the embargo in Atlas and regarding with a new religious pacifist group that worships a mysterious Goddess. After finishing reading, Walter sighs and Sitar responds)

Sitar: (offscreen) Anything good?

Walter: Nothing in particular. Same old news with the same problems. However, there appears to be an embargo happening in Atlas.

Sitar: (puts away his rifle) What do you mean, does it say anything else?

Walter: I wish I could tell you more, but the information is a little vague.

Sitar: It’s seems Atlas is having a lot of issues on their end with all that is happening.

Walter: You do realize that we are also responsible for what happen in Vale.

Sitar: You don’t need to remind me. But Ironwood should really put on his man pants if he really wants to be serious in defending the Kingdoms. With attitudes like that would lead someone like him to his doom.

Walter: I can understand from where you’re heading with this, but I believe he is doing everything in his power to give us a better tomorrow. We just need to give him some time.

Sitar: Yeah… time. (changes the subject) Anyway, when will they show up? I was told to come here because the “boys” are having a meeting or something?

Nox: (talks but doesn’t open his eyes) It was Axel McLay. One of our trusted informants told each of us to meet here in this safe house because Axel is coming in a few days’ time. He told us that Axel wanted to discuss us on what would be our next step in our operations.

Sitar: Yeah. But may I remind you that where not part of the Black Claws anymore. Ever since Operation: Scapegoat, we left the organization behind and left they be capture by Blaze’s order.

Walter: It’s true. They were plotting to overthrow Blaze and he knew they would do something like that. *sigh* But I hate to admit as Blaze once said… We were only using the Top Hat Gang as nothing more as tool for our agendas. And with the fall of Beacon, we left them high and dry for the authorities to arrest them. It made me feel bad inside for doing something like that.

Sitar: You hear that Nox, spoken from the mouth of the former Huntsman. No offence.

Walter: None taken.

Sitar: (he stands up from the couch) *Yawn* Its been two hours, when will he show up?

Blaze: (offscreen) Well why don’t you ask him yourself?

(The three men look towards the exit to see Blaze in the room with Axel closing the door behind him. They look on in shock to see their former leader alive as he smiles to his loyal companions)

Blaze: (slight smile) Hey guys, it’s been a while.

Walter: B-B-Blaze?!

Blaze: (steps forward) Yep, that’s me.

(Walter is the first to approach Blaze. He stops in front of him as he reaches out to touch his face. After checking and seeing that he is real, he wraps his arms around him; giving him a big hug. Seeing such an emotional affection, Blaze tries to be serious in front of his men, but he lets go of his facade and cries tears has he hugs him back. As the scene pans back the apparition of Tim looks on as he smiles for Blaze; showing that he isn’t some tough guy with no emotions. Axel smiles as well when his former Top Hat crew member Nox approaches him)

Nox: Mr. McLay. It seems no harm has befallen before you.

Axel: I know. (takes off his hat and coat and places on a coat rack) I wasn’t going to leave him back in beacon.

Nox: But you had to know that what you did was risky. The authorities were guarding the tower and you went there thinking that he would still—

Axel: (corrects him) Not thinking, believing. *sigh* When I fell from the airship, believing that my life would come to an end. In that moment, lady luck came to my aid and I fell into some tree branches, preventing me for falling to the ground hard. It still hurts by the way, but I didn’t have time to rest and recover for someone who doesn’t have a semblance. I rush out of the forest in hopes I can get back to Beacon, but…

Nox: The white explosion happens on top of the tower and we suspected the worst.

Axel: But not for me. Many think that he was gone, but not me. So yeah I risk my life in climbing that tower, in finding Blaze and getting him out of his imprison; knowing that I might get captured in the process.

Nox: Hmm… (looks back to Blaze) and you did all of that… just for him?

(Axel looks back at Blaze as he was conversing with Walter and Sitar)

Axel: He’s a good lad. He deserves better than this, a better life without any of this, but…

Nox: The world would find its way to take that happiness away for does who aren’t involved. It’s like he said: “That the system is broken and it needs fixing”. How the council had turn their back on the people and not helping them in times of need. (turns to face Axel as he turns to him in sync) That is why I voluntarily decide to join his crusade. Because I believe that he can make a better world for all of us, for the humans, the faunus, and does who can’t defend themselves.

Axel: Yep. And when that day comes… I will be there, standing by his side and guide him to make a better world for us to—

Walter: (offscreen) What’s that smell?!

(They look back to see Walter covering his nose. He smells Blaze and realizes that Blaze is smelling bad)

Walter: Blaze, why do you smell so foul?

Sitar: Since when was the last time you ever took a shower, or… even a bath?

Blaze: Heh heh… (scratches the back of his head) Well since I was imprison in Beacon Tower. I… never consider it.

Walter: Well you should. (he takes off Blaze’s coat) For someone of your age you should keep you hygiene clean as possible. Now I suggest that you take a long bath this instant.

Blaze: (surprised of Walter’s parental instinct kicking in) Oh! Since when you’re starting to be a father figure just now. (Walter’s face remains serious as he lifts an eyebrow) *sigh* Ok, ok I’ll take a bath.

(With that Blaze walks off towards the bathroom. Sitar nudges in towards Walter)

Sitar: Since when you started acting like that?

Walter: Well since no one is taking responsibility for his wellbeing.

Axel: (feels offended) I’m standing right here.

Walter: *sigh* Well besides Axel, someone has to take up the role of a parental figure around here.

(He walks away to the bathroom to as Blaze for his clothes)

Sitar: (scratches the back of his head) Can’t argue with that.

(The scene cut to the bathroom as Blaze is taking a shower. The steam covers the lower parts of his body as the water poor’s down on Blaze’s head. As he looks down the drain he ponders and reflects on his past life. Scene of him arriving to Vale all the way to the fall of beacon began to flash before him in his mind, reflecting on the action he did to get to this point)

(He shakes his head before he reaches for the bar of soap to his left, but when he reaches for it he gets another PTSD as the deceased Leonidas Atnikos reaches out for his throat. He gets spooked by it as he slips back and falls to the bathroom floor. He breathes heavenly as he struggles from what he has seen. He shakes his head to see it was just nothing. He looks at his hand to see it covered in blood, but it’s only in his head that he is imagining it form the trauma of taking Leo’s life)

(Fully aware of it he clenches is hand tight with his other hand as he calm’s himself down. Later, the scene cuts to Blaze, now bathed and his clothes clean, is sitting on the couch without his coat on next to Axel, while Nox, Sitar and Walter where sitting on some chairs. They were silent as Blaze with twiddling his thumbs as the three men were waiting for what he has to say. Blaze commences the conversation)

Blaze: *sigh* I… I don’t know where to start. It’s been some months since I was trapped in that tower with the Dragon Grimm. A lot of things has happened in my absence, with the Black Claw members all arrested, the embargo in Atlas and the numerous rumors going around in Mistral. I’m glad that you guys are alive and well and if wasn’t for Axel (he looks at him) I would be trapped there for the rest of my life, or taken away by the authorities. (looks back at his companions) However, doing such an act… me and Axel are now fugitives of the law; which mean being out in the open wouldn’t be a good idea for us to move forward.

Sitar: (looking at his scroll) I can prove that. (he shows his scroll that shows a wanted list for Axel and Blaze’s arrest) You two are now well known to everyone when this got publicizes to the public.

Blaze: (he nods) Not only that… I… wasn’t myself lately in coming here. The day I committed my sin, my act in taking a life, the act off-- *sniff* *sniff* (Axel comforts him) Thank you. (takes a deep breath) I was barely able to do anything. Such a post-trauma is been affecting my mind as I carry the guilt of killing someone who is doing the right thing, but I was blind to my vengeance and… I lost myself to it. So I have to live with it for the rest of my life. Also, I was reflecting myself of the past actions I ever did up till now and I realize something.

Nox: And that is?

Blaze: That my action did cause harm to others, even if I didn’t took part of it. We—no… I have made bad decisions in trying to achieve my goal, instead a lot of people got hurts in the cross fire. I don’t want to see more people get hurt because of me, (looks at his hand) because of my vengeance (he clutches his hand); because of me (he closes his eyes). (he opens his eyes and looks back to his companions) That is why I want to make amends to my mistakes, to undo the damage I have caused; even if the damage is done… I want to set some things right again.

(He stands up from the couch as his companions, including Axel does the same)

Blaze: That is why… that is why…. (he bows to his companions) I’m so sorry.

(Nox, Sitar and Walter are surprised of Blaze’s words as he apologies to them. he start crying because of his guilt, until Walter places his hand on his shoulder. He stops crying as he looks up as Walter goes down on one knee to his level)

Walter: Blaze, you don’t need to apologies to us for what you did. It is you that should apologies; knowing that you come to the realization of your actions. Although noble, you were doing for the right reasons, but in the wrong way. You let your own anger consumed you and because of that, a lot of people got hurt. Yet you have recruited us to ensure you didn’t fall from the right path. You are right that the government isn’t perfect, but you had to realized that your little crusade would lead to a path that you would never turn back from.

Blaze: (amazed) Walter.

Walter: (straightens up and helps Blaze to straighten to) So no matter what happens, I will always be there to help you in whatever I can.

Nox: Same here. If wasn’t for you, I would have still sided with the criminal gang that we took over. You gave me a purpose and I want to see it fulfilled. (he raises his metal fist) My arms are yours.

Blaze: Nox.

Sitar: (coughs to get his attention)

Blaze: Sitar?

Sitar: *sigh* you know… I would never I would be ordered around by a young kid, but… your vision for remnant did gave me something to think about. (he looks at him as Blaze looks on with puppy dog eyes) Ugh! Ok, ok, fine! You want me to say it! That I will help you, regardless of what happens to us, is that what you want me to say?!

Blaze: Um… what are you talking about?

(In that moment, Sitar realizes his mistake and gets embarrassed)

Sitar: Oh—well—Damn! (Blaze tilt his head) *sigh* Look what I mean is… You can count on me, no questions asked. But… I’m still getting payed for doing this, right?

Blaze: *giggle* You still have that sense of humor, Sitar.

Axel: And you have my support. Since the day I met you, I want to help you in whatever I can. So you can count on us (he walks and stand besides Nox, Sitar and Walter) till the end.

Blaze: Axel, everyone.

(Blaze looks at his companions as they are committed to help him shape Remnant to a brighter future. He begins to cry tears of joy as he later wipes the tears with his sleeves of his arms)

Blaze: Thank you. (Tim looks on proud of Blaze taking his first step in bettering himself)

Walter: Soo… what would be our first act of our service.

Blaze: Well for starters, were starting with a clean slate. Where abandoning our former styles of our previous operations.

Sitar: Wait what! You mean were not going to steal thing anymore?

Walter: (gets upset) Sitar!

Blaze: He’s right. (Walter gets surprised) We used to do does thing, but not anymore. However, there’s no harm if we steal from the bad guys. That counts for something.

Sitar: (realize and gets relieved) Oh well… if you put it that way.

Blaze: However, let me make one thing clear here. My dream of ruling Remnant hasn’t change and I will achieve that, but… to get to that point our methods must be changed that doesn’t involved hurting others in the cross fire. So we need to think before we act.

Walter: To come up with a much strategies plan instead of a much direct approach… I can get aboard with that.

Nox: If we plan right, then no civilians would get hurt in our deeds.

Blaze: Exactly. If any of them gets in the way, then we must help them from getting hurt form our actions or others who doesn’t care if they are in the middle of it. To clarify this, we are not heroes nor are we villains. Were just people who want to make Remnant a better place to live and for the next generation and live on without fear nor death.

Axel: (proud) Spoken like a true leader.

Walter: OK then. So what is our first act?

Blaze: Information. Before I arrived here, I came upon with some info about something that it’s hard to understand. We need to get this out of the way before we can make our move.

Nox: Understood.

Walter: Then I can help you start with that. (he approaches Blaze and hands over a piece of cardboard with an address)

Blaze: What’s this?

Walter: Before I came here, someone slip this into my pocket. When I read it, it said that I must give this to you.

Blaze: Why?

Walter: Well I can’t say, but the letter that came with that said that if he would seek answers, then he should come to that place and meet with one of his informants.

(Blaze looks on the address and makes a decision)

Blaze: Then that’s where I’m going. I will go alone for this and I want you all to wait here until further notice.

Axel: Are you sure you want to do this, who knows if it’s going to be a trap?

Blaze: If it is, then I’ll be ready for whatever they throw at me. Besides, were fugitives now if someone sees us together then everything would end before we even started. (he goes to put on his coat from the coat rack) It’s for the best. But just so that you guys do something, I want you to get me some Intel on Haven Academy. (walks towards the door)

Walter: Haven Academy, why?

Blaze: (he opens the door) Just in case… (looks back to them) if we have to result to the alternative.

(And with that he leaves the safe house, leaving his companions behind with the assignment. The scene cuts to Blaze at the moment Falco told him that he has a role to play and that role is to save the world. Falco remains silent as Blaze inspects the clothed item. After that, he looks back at Falco and said)

Blaze: You’re joking, right? Me, saving the world? Humph, as if.

Falco: Look if I was really joking around I would be smiling, but I’m not smiling. I’m serious on what I said. You have a great purpose in this world; to save it for does who would want to take our free will. The reason that you’re still around—

Blaze: You don’t know me.

Falco: Ok. Let me rephrase that… the reason that you still live is that sign of your purpose calling out to you. Look if I was the one in charge I would have tell you more.

Blaze: So what? (mocks him) You’re saying that you are their errand boy?

(Falco gets offended by this but he restrains himself from not provoking him to leave. He sits back down and continues to explain the situation to Blaze)

Falco: Listen. The old man wanted me to give this to you and to tell you that your assistance would help up in saving remnant. You’re a special case, kid. You have the power to change everything in everyone’s lives and--

Blaze: But may I remind you that my goal is to rule over remnant and to guide them to a peaceful future. Who said anything that I would share it with anyone beside my companions? So for your information (leans forward) you can tell the old man that I’m not helping anybody. (straightens back) I knew this would be a waste of time so if you excuse me.

(As Blaze begins to leave the bar, Falco stops him as he calls him out)

Falco: Kid!

Blaze: (looks back) I have a name you know, and that is Blaze.

Falco: *sigh* Ok, Blaze. He really wants to meet you in person. If you truly want to get some answers? (pulls from his pocket another card with an address) Then take this.

(He throws it at him as Blaze catches it with his two fingers, he looks at it and asked)

Blaze: Another address?

Falco: That’s the meeting point where he will show up later today. If you want some answers that could concerned you? The head to that address, he will be waiting for you there.

Blaze: (he thinks of a moment before looking back at him) I’ll keep it in mind.

(With that, Blaze walks out of the bar; leaving Falco there to himself. Later, Blaze returns to his companions to tell on what he has learned)

Walter: So did you meet the informant?

Blaze: Yep.

Nox: Did you get anything from him?

Blaze: Well (looks at the table) besides the clothed item (looks back at his companions) I did get something out of him.

Sitar: But did you believe in his story? I mean, it could be lies just to get your attention for a trap.

Blaze: I didn’t care if it’s true or false, only that we got a lead. It’s not much, but it’s a lead none the less. However, I didn’t believe in him calling me a hero. I’m not. I’m just a kid who wants to do something to make remnant a better place to live.

Axel: I see. And the address that he gave you would lead us to does answers. (looks at the table) Soo… what’s the item in question? Did you check what it is?

Blaze: You know… I didn’t check.

(Blaze walks towards the table with his companions soon follow. He stops in front of the table and begins to unwrap the item in question. Upon being unwrapped they are shock to see that is a retractable staff with two dust crystals on each end)

Sitar: That’s… an interesting weapon.

Nox: I wonder what it is. It feels like it belongs to someone, but who?

Blaze: Amber.

Sitar: (looks at Blaze) Who now?

Axel: Amber. I know that name. She was a young woman who had helped us in the past.

Blaze: Yeah. Axel had to call in some favors in order to get in touch with her. With her help I was able to recover from my illness.

Sitar: Really? I didn’t know that. But… how did you know this belong to her?

(Blaze looks at it and picks it up. He inspects it and the activates it to extend it)

Blaze: Back in Beacon Academy, in the vault that was below the tower.

(The scene shows a flashback of the events that happen)

Blaze: There was a girl… inside of a pod. Something about her looks so familiar, but…

(Amber was stroke down by Cinder’s attack)

Blaze: She died by Cinder’s hand. I didn’t recognize her in that moment, but…

(The scene returns back to the present day)

Blaze: Looking at this now, there’s no denying that. That woman… was Amber.

(Axel drop his cane from hearing of Amber’s fate)

Axel: I—I—I didn’t know. I thought that she was hurt from an attacked. But didn’t realize that she ended up in—

Blaze: I didn’t get the chance to thank her before knowing of her fate. But it begs the question: why would he want me to have this?

Axel: (walks towards and stops in front of Blaze) I don’t know but… it’s a long stretch but I believe she wanted to pass the torch to you.

Blaze: (looks at Axel) You think so?

Axel: Well I don’t know that. However, I would guess that she knew that you’re a kind soul; a boy whose life was taken from you and that you want to do great things for Remnant. Although your previous methods where to extreme that lead to what happen in Beacon, but in the end… you only want to end the violence and suffering of every single soul that lives in Remnant. So yeah, I think she knew that her time was coming and entrusted that “this” is sent to you so you can carry her will and legacy.

Blaze: And to keep the people of Remnant safe. Hmm… well in that case…

(He retracts the staff and place behind his waits)

Blaze: I will fulfil her wishes and carry her legacy in her name..

Sitar: Soo… changing the subject. Are you planning to go to the meeting?

Blaze: Ohh. (realize what he is saying) Yeah. This could be our chance to uncover something that I learn before coming to Mistral. (looks at Axel) Axel, you’re coming with me. The rest of you keep on getting information about Haven Academy and it’s headmaster.

(As he walks to the door, Sitar stops him)

Sitar: Hold on a moment, what is the thing you learn before coming here? You were asking us on gathering information regarding the academy and the headmaster. So before we can go any further we need to know what is the thing that you want us to find is.

Blaze: *sigh* (turn to face sitar) Well… where do I even start. It just… if I told you, you won’t believe me and Axel.

Axel: It is something that even I’m having trouble understanding it. So I doubt that you guys would believe anything that we say.

Walter: And why would you say that? (Blaze and Axel looks at him) We trust you till the very end of our days. You never hid anything form us that isn’t that difficult to understand. So whatever you would tell us, we can comprehend it.

(Blaze looks at his companions with determination in their eyes. As they are loyal to him they would embrace anything that Blaze knows about what Ozpin told him and the other information he and Axel gathered. So with a deep sigh he made his decision)

Blaze: Alright. I’ll tell you. Just… be ready for it.

(A few hours past, Blaze and Axel sits at the couch as Blaze toys with Amber’s staff. As they looked on, Nox, Sitar and Walter pounders on what Blaze had told him about the Maidens, the mysterious Relics and the existence of magic.)

Nox: Hmm…

Walter: Well. This is uhh… well… something.

Nox: So… these “Maidens”, the relics and the existence of magic, (looks at Blaze) are they real?

Blaze: Well with what Ozpin told me… it seems possible.

Sitar: I hardly doubt that. Don’t get me wrong, Blaze. It’s just… Maidens that can cast magic and relics that does mystical wonders… I’m having a hard time believing that.

Blaze: *Sigh* (he closes and opens his palm as he cast fire from his hand to prove his claim) Says the one who can cast fire from his hand.

Sitar: Ohh… well… you have a point. (Blaze puts out his fire away as he lowers his arm) But, dude that bakes the question: if and this is a big “if”, if these things truly exist in Remnant, then why no one ever told about this? I mean, we should be informed about such things like this.

Walter: Hmm… you have a point, Sitar. However, I can see this from a different perspective.

Sitar: (looks at Walter) What do you mean?

Walter: Well think this for example. (he approaches the group) Say that everyone knew about this, then what? Most of the people would find these maidens and keep them safe from harm, they would knew that in the past we used to cast magic and there are mystical relics that can do wonders that we still can’t understand yet. However on the other hand, people like say the White Fang or any criminal underworlds would seek out these things for their own ends; and would destabilize the balance of power that would leave to anarchy and chaos.

Nox: Not to mention with the Grimm running around… that would lead to more death that bringing peace.

Blaze: But that bring another question: (they look at Blaze) who would want to conceal this information from everyone in Remnant? And what purpose they try to hide this from us? Hmmm… whatever it is it doesn’t matter. Because I’ll be the one who will rule Remnant and no one else, well beside you guys. I need someone who would assist me in governing the world. (he notice something) Speaking of which, where’s Eon Blackweltz? I thought that she would be here.

Walter: To tell you the truth, we haven’t seen her since the fall of Beacon.

Axel: (he contributes on that statement) The last time I saw her was during our control of Ironwood’s flagship that controlled the Atlesina Knights. When me, Roman, Neo and Eon where fighting Ruby and Raiden she was blown away from the ship along with Neo on with her umbrella. Ruby cause it to open up and the wind took them away, (looks down) it happened before Roman was eaten by a Griffon. After that, I haven’t heard from Eon or Neo since.

Walter: Gods, I hope they are ok.

Blaze: Well if she still out there, then let’s give her some time for her to return before we can expect the worst. Plus, if she brings Neo with her she would be an excellent addition to our cause, and… to at least give her a place to be after the loss of Roman.

Axel: Yeah. (reminds that they need to be at the location of the address) But we need to go now or we will miss our chance3 to meet the man who sent the informant.

Blaze: Yeah you’re right. (puts away Amber’s staff and they stood up from the couch) So all of you now understand the reasons I want to know these things. If we can better understand this, then it would be easier for us to plan our next move. (signals to Axel and they began to head for the exit) So keep at it, and find anything regarding Haven Academy along with its headmaster.

Walter: You got it. (the door closes offscreen) (looks at Nox and Sitar) Now then everyone, let’s get back to work.

Nox: Understood.

(As they go back to work, Sitar looks back at the door as he still ponders on everything that he las learn. But after that, he goes back to work with Nox and Sitar. The scene cuts to Blaze and Axel as they walk down the streets of the upper levels of Mistral)

Axel: The upper levels of Mistral never seem to lose its touch.

Blaze: You come here often?

Axel: Most of the time. I come to Mistral during our Black Claw days. I always travel through these streets because the atmosphere is so relaxing and it calms me down.

(The apparition of Tim appears beside Blaze)

Tim: He’s not lying. (Blaze looks at Tim) It looks beautiful. I only heard of this through the folk back in Haven Town, and it’s true on what they say. The upper levels of Mistral look so beautiful and well cultured.

Blaze: You really think so?

Axel: Huh?

Blaze: Ohh… sorry. I was talking to Tim.

Axel: Ohh… right. Uhm… You know that this with you talking to Tim is going to be difficult in getting used to that.

Blaze: What’s that supposed to mean?

Axel: I mean, don’t get the wrong idea. Like you said only you can see him and I believe you. But for others (he looks at some people that are staring at Blaze before looking back to him) some sees that you’re talking to yourself. Unless there’s another way for us to see and communicate with him, it would look so weird. (Tim ponders on that statement)

Blaze: Well regardless of that, they should not nose on other people’s business and ignore it.

Axel: I know, but—

Blaze: (offscrene) Where here.

(Before long, they arrive to the building where Ruby and the others are residing)

Blaze: (he looks at the card) It seems this is the place. (puts it away) Let’s hope it doesn’t lead us to a dead end.

Axel: I hope not. But at least the journey wasn’t a complete waste.

(The walk up and approach the front door. Axel proceeds to knock at the door and they wait for a respoce)

Tim: I hope we find the answers were looking for.

Blaze: Humph. I hope so.

(Axel looks back at Blaze as he is talking to Tim. He feels worried that people would look at him, thinking that he is talking to himself, but regardless he would stand beside his best friend. As they head the door nob turning, the door opens up and they are surprises to see Oscar being the one to answer)

Oscar: Oh! It’s you!

Axel: Oscar?!

Blaze: I’m surprised that you are even here.

Oscar: I’m surprised as well that you’re here as well. What are you doing here?

Blaze: Well I was in the neighborhood, doing my things and reaching some stuff. You?

Oscar: Ohh… well—

Nora: (Offscreen) Who is it? (Oscar looks back)

Blaze: (responds to that woman’s vice to Oscar) Who was that? Is there someone else here?

Oscar: (looks back to Blaze) I’ll explain later, but please come in. (talks back to Nora) Oh it’s nothing. (turns and face the group) It’s just a friend.

(As Blaze takes his first two steps forward he stops to look at everyone inside. He and Axel are surprised to see the students from Beacon Academy; in particular Ruby and Raiden amongs the group. As everyone look on in shock and horror on Blaze and Axel, Raiden is the first to speak out)

Raiden: Blaze!?

(Blaze looks down for a moment as he takes a deep breath, before he looks forward at the group. As he is about to say something the scene cuts to black)
