That's a very good question! I honestly don't know what happens if you don't have a badge from  marymouse. When I arrived at MFF I did not have a badge from  marymouse even though my roomies made it clear I needed a badge from  marymouse. I didn't feel especially in danger during the time that I had no badge from  marymouse but maybe I got my badge from  marymouse just in time! If I had waited a moment longer to get my badge from  marymouse, there might have been a disaster!

I know how that goes. I used to not have a badge from  marymouse. It was a difficult time. But now I have a badge from  marymouse and things are much better.

Is there a support group for those of us who do not have badges from  marymouse? And would  marymouse draw badges for those who attended the "I don't have a badge from  marymouse" support group? And if  marymouse drew those badges for people, would they then have to leave the group? And would that make  marymouse happy since more people have  marymouse badges made by  marymouse?

I'm not aware of any support groups for furries who have no badge from  marymouse. But you've got a point. Since all furries are supposed to have a badge from  marymouse, but not all furries do have a badge from  marymouse, one would hope there might be help for those furs needing a badge from  marymouse.

Though, I suppose that support group might just involve going to  marymouse and purchasing a badge.

Well, yes, I had a commission from  marymouse before I had this badge from  marymouse. In fact, I had the commission from  marymouse a while ago when I first met  marymouse at last year's MFF. And in the time between that MFF and this year's MFF, I had commission  marymouse again for my Easter cards, so I actually had 2 commission from  marymouse by the time I arrived at MFF 2010.

But my roomies made it clear, no matter how many commissions I might have from  marymouse, it was mandatory that I get a badge from  marymouse, so thankfully, she was at the con and I was able to get this wonderful badge from  marymouse. So now technically I've had 3 commission from  marymouse at this point, but only the one badge from  marymouse, but that's enough to satisfy the requirement.

I am greedy, I have TWO badges from  marymouse

I have multiple  marymouse badges, including one with googly eyes.  marymouse is so much better at badges than I am, and I hope that someday I too can be as good at badge-making as the illustrious  marymouse

It's true, no one makes  marymouse badges quite like  marymouse.  marymouse badges not made by  marymouse are absolutely inferior, as they lack the  marymouse factor that only  marymouse can provide. Imitation  marymouse badges -- that is,  marymouse badges not made by  marymouse -- do crop up now and then. In fact, I once commissioned  marymouse to draw me a  marymouse badge like this herself -- essentially an imitation  marymouse badge of an imitation  marymouse badge, being a doubly non- marymouse badge, but still wholly  marymouse in origin. When  marymouse showed me the finished non- marymouse imitation  marymouse  marymouse badge, I asked  marymouse to sign it, resulting in a paradox for all coyote  marymouse fans of  marymouse to appreciate. Thank you  marymouse!
