I flipped through a home decorator's magazine from 1977 and adapted select elements into my own drawings: Arrows from a convection oven ad flowing over a pot roast warm a wolf instead, and the patterns on a sofa becomes the kitchen tile of an amateur chef. This sort of abstracted collage is great when you're feeling low on creativity.
