This is an older image (from 2001) that gives a better idea of what the dream really is like. I'm like "What is it? What do you want?" They swirl around me almost as if they want to lead me somewhere. But how can I follow? O_O

Hmmm, this sounds very familiar to some of the experiences of Jennifer Diane Reitz. She's the person who created Unicorn Jelly and Pastel Defender Heliotrope.

Oh, and if you've never read Unicorn Jelly, read that FIRST before you read any of her other work. Also check out some of the short comics describing some of her experiences that seem totally unreal.
I mention this because if you ask me, she too has seen your lights.

Wow... I remembered this one, but it's even prettier than I remember - it really is dream-like. I think it reflects how you described that dream, but the picture is so much stronger, more alive. Do you have more drawings (painting?) like this?
Is that canvas, or is it watercolor paper or something?
Dreams are strange - somehow, they must rise from our own minds. But parts of our minds that we don't know too well, or we'd get those images while awake, as well. It gives a bit of vertigo to think that all those images and events in our dreams really would exist somewhere in our minds, behind some "closed doors" that open when we close our eyes.
Mom says, if you dreamed something, you already know it... I guess maybe she's right. My dreams have often been caricatures of my real life feelings. ^^;
