The beautiful glow. Though normally not one to overthrow the status quo, even those with the best of intentions can be swayed to the other side. Kurk is the type that'd fight for what he believes to be right, especially if it's in defense of his pack and family. Kane really is as charismatic as they say, convincing this once loyal member of GDI to turn against what he used to hold dear in hopes for a better future. A brighter future. A greener future. Peace Through Power!
How did he topple zone troopers with that dinky flamethrower? Well, you can be the guessers on that. But in reality, that weapon was amongst the top tiers in the Renegade campaign. Able to stun enemies with ease. Not so much in Multiplayer. (Also fun fact! Kurk's left handed.)
Anyways, down to these little descriptions I do... You see, C&C has been a pretty big influence in my life. It's been a wonderful series that had captured my heart, leading to many inspirations of ideas and characters to use and base off of. Truly, it is a shame it went the way that it did. I really did have some hope for EA when C&C 3 released. Say what you want, but to me, Wars was truly was a worthy successor to Dawn and Sun. It refined quite a few mechanics we were fond of, filled each and every one of the units with such personality and passion, and the story wasn't half bad. Kinda was sad the campaign itself was all over the place, at least mission-wise. And although it didn't quite hit the atmosphere Sun had, especially with the wildlife, it was a good time. Kane's Wrath certainly was an amazing expansion too! Just wish the series got the ending it deserved, rather than the one that was forced. Oh well, we still have this amazing RTS series to love and to cherish as one of the greats. Even with all its imperfections and horrific balance with the earlier entries.
Had this random idea for Kurk in the Tiberium universe while in the progress to talking to this artist. I had been playing the series with some friends, and it just sorta popped into my mind. They seemed pretty alright with drawing an Avali for the first time too, which cemented the idea. Figured my vali boy should get some more much needed love like my fops does. Just gotta branch out to more artists for both, I suppose. In any case, I adore the lighting they did for this one. Very glowey and green.
