So, my girlfriend HunterBeingHunted ( https://www.deviantart.com/hunterbeinghunted ) made me try sauna for the first time when I visited Finland. It was supposedly a "lame" sauna of not even 70°C.
Guys, I fucking died in there. My whole face was on fire, my eyeballs were melting, I was hyperventilating and I felt my head spinning. I was crawling under the benches like an oversized worm looking for fresh air. And when I thought it couldn't get any worse, she tossed the water on the searing stones... So yeah, this is an accurate representation of us during my very first (lame) sauna, starring our totally-not-fursona.
(I tried it a few more times and it went better, by the way! I'm starting to appreciate it)

I never got the hang of saunas, I'm already dying when it's over 35°, especially when the humidity is high. I better survive in colder environments, I probably would get a better rejuvenating effect from a cold shower
And I guess it must be much harder for anthro cats, with all the fur but no sweat glands under it.

Lol. I won't say it's exactly the same, obviously, but it makes me think a bit about how I really like it cooler indoors than warmer, and when I'm really happy at ~65F/18.33C, my Mom and my brother might consider it like being in a refrigerator. Meanwhile, if the temp's much over ~70F/21.11C, I'm like "Uugh."
Which I guess is however funny because depending on how you look at it, it could be said to be a pretty small difference.
