Okay I think this guy is the last of my recent character creations and now to take a break ^^;
Say hello to Laalouche (Laaw-loosh) Ynaason!
As you can probably guess from such things as his colors, last name, and that distinctive scythe on his head, he's the son of Ynaa, but not in the usual sense.
The deities of Ynaa's home universe were still grumbling some about how Ynaa had grown so powerful (to the point now that her home reality is utterly infintesimal compared to her original self) and skipped some of the usual requirements to be considered a "real" deity. One of which being that a "real" deity should be able to create life from nothing.
In response to these grumbles, Ynaa created a completely brand new being in Laalouche here. And Ynaa being Ynaa, she really poured a-lot into him and so that he's equal to (if not greater than) all those deities who had been grumbling. However, where most of these other deities would create new life and be done with it, Ynaa grew up as a mortal and actually lived a mortal life and so has a different view of matters. So instead she adopted Laalouche as her son, of sorts, and has allowed him to explore who he is and what he wants to do with this life of his. A mortal with the power of a deity? A deity with the wide open possibilities of purpose and freedom that mortals have and deities lack? Hard to describe what he is, but Ynaa has allowed him to choose. Does he want to be a deity and choose a domain to reside over or would he rather simply lead a mortal life with benefits? Entirely left to him to choose.
Ynaa does her best not to be a hellicopter parent (even if that's somewhat difficult with her being litterally everywhere all the time), but she still happily keeps an eye on Laalouche's progress and checks in on him frequently as any loving mother would ^^
In terms of personality, he's explorative and inquisitive and has a passion for logic puzzles and the like. Friendly, but also competitive and he enjoys dropping these logic puzzles on people (and deities sometimes) with little offers of boons if they solve them correctly and silly "penalties" if they answer incorrectly.
Also, since he is male rather than female, I figured a fun thing to do would be to also change up what the pheremones of Salazzle do with him. So instead of pheramones he has a cloud of miniscule nanobots (sort-of like Ynaa's nanites but not quite as advanced or powerful) that he releases and generally hangs around him that can be reconfigured to form any sort of tool he may need on a moment's notice and to even to silly things like display emoji and such around his head XD
As for his species, I ended up going with a mix of Protogen and Salazzle (and I guess technically Absol too with the colors and that scythe and neck floof) because of having long been interested in adding a Salazzle to my cast in some way and a recent interest in exploring a Protogen character too just for fun ^^;
This is admittedly just very much my own take on Protogen by mixing the look with Salazzle and seeing what happens, but I'm pretty happy with it!
And then the Salazzle part I actually quite liked the idea of doing a male Salazzle character to create a-bit more of a unique character too!

I wonder if part of why Ynaa decided to make him a male Salazzle was to further show those stuffier deities what she thought of their ideas about what is and isn't allowed, heh. I hadn't realized he might also seek out those same deities and give them puzzles to solve or be 'penalized' for, haha.
A welcome and wild addition to the team, bringing his own unique brand of chaos and mystery!
